picture-61Tony Franklin, Microsoft Solution Specialist, will present a free webinar for educators about using Microsoft OneNote 2007 in the classroom on Tuesday, January 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. PST.   As an incentive for participating in the webinar and completing the survey that follows the presentation, teachers will receive their very own copy of Microsoft OneNote 2007, an excellent tool for organizing and presenting information to students.   The webinar will cover topics such as getting started with OneNote, how to become organized with OneNote, organizing class materials, and creating collaborative environments.   This event will be a must for teachers seeking creative ways to engage students with technology.   Educators interested in participating must be legal residents of the United States and provide proof of employment as K-20 faculty/staff members.   Click here for full details and to register for the free event.

Too bad this doesn’t include pre-k teachers. I have a group of teachers to train.

Is it just me or aren’t teachers usually teaching from 1-2:30 on a Tuesday? Perhaps a time later in the day would be more useful.

@Chris: I would investigate the emails associated with these Microsoft webinars to see if they would be willing to let Pre-K teachers/staff to participate.

@Peter: I agree that 1-2:30 PST is too early, but it works out nice for the staff members of our school as it’s actually 4:00 EST. I also noticed that it is possible to view/download the webinar at a later date/time.
