Temple Run for AndroidThe most anticipated game since Angry Birds launches on Android today. Temple Run is a huge hit on the iPhone, and now you can play it on almost any Android phone or tablet.

To win, you need to turn, jump and slide as you run along temple walls and cliffs, avoiding obstacles and enemies that want to take back the cursed idol.

Temple Run has over 750,000 reviews on iOS, with a 4.5 star rating and has already racked up nearly 7,000 reviews on Android with a 4.4 /5 rating.

You can see Temple Run in action in the video below. This video demo is for the iPhone version, but you get a good idea of what to expect in this fast paced game.

To control your character, you swipe up, down, left or right, so there are no buttons to miss and screw up your escape. This is one of the reasons that Temple Run works so well. It’s not just a good idea for a game, it’s executed well.

Temple Run is free to play, but there are in app purchases if you can’t wait to earn the in-game currency to upgrade your character. According to many reviews of the iPhone version, you can play just fine without spending any real cash, so don’t worry about getting hit up for a dollar here and there just to advance.

Just search “Temple Run” and keep scrolling down.
It’s there alright, but just not near the top.

The icon is the one on the top right of the page so just look for that.

On the other hand, you could simply log in and get it from the browser:

Got to laugh at these people with low powered Droids expecting a game like Temple Run to work on it and then giving the developer a hard time. HTC Wildfire? C’moan. its got a 500mhz CPU and a screen rez of 240 x 320 pixels. Wake up!!
