The Perfect Mobile Keyboard?

Published

on

ms-6000-bt_1.jpgThe Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 looks like it’s a good travel buddy for slates or netbooks with cramped keyboards. Darren Murph from Engadget reviewed the thin keyboard and had a lot of good things to say about it.

Unlike most mobile keyboards, this one has a slight curve to it. The curve allows typists’ hands to rest in a more natural position.

Microsoft has done well on the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000. It’s impossibly thin, surprisingly sturdy and a real pleasure to type on.

The Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 has an MSRP of $89.95. A matching numeric keypad can be had for $44.95.

I have that keyboard, and I must say its very very close to the perfeckt keyboard.
I got both the keyboard and num-pad in samme box, for about 60 euro.

Instead of lugging this keyboard and a netbook many people would be better off with a full-size laptop. This keyboard might be bigger than the netbook.

Microsoft’s “Entertainment” keyboard that were this keyboard’s precessors are great for use with slate tablets.
In my case I use one with Motion M1400’s.

The most important feature to me is the size that allows them to fit into a standard size computer backpack.

The bluetooth works flawlessly and give great range. I expecially like the dual purpose touch control that can function as a mini glide pad.

I have both the “Entertainment” keyboard, and this new one. The new one is alot smaller, while keeping the same key size.

You may be correct, but if a netbook or a slate works for most of a persons needs, the added bulk of a full-size laptop is not needed. Hauling out the keyboard only when needed may make sence.
