We fell in love with The Witcher 3 because it presented the main character with some extremely difficult decisions. These decisions, even ones that appeared to be rather minor, had a profound impact on the storyline and the world around you. We hope Rockstar does something similar with Red Dead Redemption 2 and it sounds like it might. Our hope is that the choices you make ( the big ones and the small ones) affect the plot, towns, and character's in meaningful ways. This will improve the replayability of the game's single-player. The Witcher 3 literally has 30+ endings based on the choices you make in the game. We've replayed it several times just to see the results of making different decisions. One other thing we love about The Witcher 3 is that it forces you to act quickly. In some instances, you only have a few seconds to make a decision. GTA 5 gave you some control over the story, the last mission The Third Way comes to mind, and we'd love to see some non-linear elements in the Red Dead Redemption 2 storyline. | |||||||||||
