Verizon Finally Gets It Right with Latest 4G LTE Ads

Published

on

Verizon has routinely released new commercials for its 4G LTE network and I’ve made a routine of picking all of them apart. In a word, they were terrible. They weren’t funny, they didn’t explain anything to the average consumer and they didn’t sit well with a dork like me.

However, I’m the type of person that likes to give praise when praise is due and that’s what I am about to do.

Verizon has released a series of new 4G LTE advertisements that are funny, original and get the point of 4G LTE across to those that might not understand. At the very least, it will compel people to delve further into the mysteries of Verizon’s next-generation network. Imagine that. And they’re just 15 seconds in length too.

Verizon LTE

Well done, Verizon.

Hopefully I am singing the same tune when you release your first commercials for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola Droid RAZR.

Not bad, right?

My 80 year old grandmother, who isn’t tech savvy in the least understands what Verizon 4G is versus AT&T/Sprint/T-Mobile, I think the average person understands the commercials perfectly and you just enjoy being overly critical of how Verizon chooses to advertise the service.

Much, MUCH better than the “ripping parts out of robots”-style commercial.

I agree that they are better than the robot crap.  I would imagine that the Razr commercials will be okay but I wonder what they will do with the Nexus since its running Ice Cream Sandwich.
