Although there is no confirmation that Walmart Black Friday 2014 deals will start on Thanksgiving the retailer remained open on Thanksgiving for the last 25 years, only recently using it as the start of huge savings on gadgets. Walmart spokeswoman Sarah McKinney tells CBS News, “It’s a different type of shopper” during Thanksgiving, with families coming instead of adults lined up at 4 AM.  If you need any proof that the Walmart Black Friday deals will start on Thanksgiving you need look no further than the 10 million register transactions Walmart chalked up last Thanksgiving Day.

The odds are very good that the Walmart Thanksgiving Day hours will start at 6 PM for deals and that the Walmart Black Friday 2014 hours start at 8 AM. You can count on Walmart confirming plans and announcing Black Friday 2014 deals and hours around November 11th.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 1-Hour Guaranteed In Stock

For the last two years of Walmart Black Friday deals the retailer offered guaranteed in stock items that removed the hassles of waiting in line and finding out everything you wanted was sold out.

After a successful Walmart Black Friday 1-Hour guaranteed in stock program last year including HDTVs, the iPad mini, the Xbox One, PS4 laptops and more there is a very good chance this will return.

As long as you are in line to get a wristband by the listed time on Thanksgiving Day, usually 6 PM for some items and 8 PM for others, you will get that item in store right then. If the stock runs out Walmart will ship you the item before Christmas.

If you want multiple items you will need to bring friends or family since you cannot line up for more than one item at a time. Typically you will get a wristband to hold the place for that item. Last year the online reservations for in stock guaranteed items ran into problems, but Walmart extended the deadline to make things work.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 HDTV Deals

Black Friday isn’t the best time to buy name brand HDTVs like Samsung or Sony, but you can always find deals on lesser known names and occasional deals on Samsung. Vizio is a popular Black Friday HDTV deal at Walmart and one we could see again.

You can expect to see Black Friday 2014 HDTV deals for a 60-inch HDTV at $20. Expect Walmart to be close to this price.

Dealnews predicts the best Black Friday HDTV doorbuster deal for 2014 is a 60-inch model. For the price, look for $420 for an off brand HDTV and $725 for a name brand. The publication also predicts a 32-inch doorbuster starting at $99 up to a 70-inch doorbuster at $949. These aren’t specific to any retailer, but typically the Walmart Black Friday HDTV deals include a wide range of options.

We could also see some 4K Black Friday TV deals that significantly lower the cost of adding a 4K TV to your living room.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 Gaming Deals

We already shared our PS4 Black Friday and Xbox One Black Friday 2014 deal predictions and it is a very good chance that Walmart will play a role in these deals.

You can already save $50 off the Xbox One at Walmart with $349 Xbox One pre-orders now and in store on November 2nd.

You can count on some type of Xbox One and PS4 games Black Friday deals at Walmart this year. Look for old games at $20 or less and new games at $10 off or as part of a Buy One Get One deal.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 iPhone & iPad

We will be very shocked if the Walmart Black Friday 2014 deals don’t include multiple iPad deals and at least one iPhone 6 deal. Last year Walmart offered multiple iPad Black Friday deals online and in store including a guaranteed in stock iPad mini deal for $299 with a $100 gift card.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 iPhone & iPad deals are at the top of our expectation list.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 iPhone & iPad deals are at the top of our expectation list.

This year the iPad mini is $249 every day, so there is a very good chance for a deal that drops it below $200 with a gift card factored in. We may see some deals on the iPad Air and iPad Air 2, but don’t expect discounts that deep.

Expect to see a Black Friday iPhone 6 deal at Walmart that is more than just the device in stock. Last year Walmart offered a $75 gift card when you signed a new two-year contract and it would not be a shock to see a similar deal arrive again at Walmart with very limited quantities.

Walmart Black Friday 2014 Laptop Deals

Walmart Black Friday 2014 laptop deals are another thing you can count on. We’re already seeing Windows 8 laptops available every day for $200, so it’s tough to say what Walmart will offer, but you can count on several options ranging from under $200 to $498 for larger screen notebooks with more power or ultraportable notebooks with good battery life.

A warning to any potential office for mac users.. Outlook on Mac is pretty awful especially if you are expecting any sort of time saving features or things that just make sense. Microsoft hasn’t updated this software in almost 4 years now.

I compeletely agree! My first (and last) Black Friday laptop I’ve bought has been terrible. I’ve paid more to fix it than what I paid for it. I’ve had it less than 1 yr. I bought it Black Friday 2013!

The 60 inch TV does say $20 right under the picture of it. Then in paragraph below TV lists the 60″ TV for $420. You both are right for the price. I’m sure Walmart WILL NOT STAND BY THE $20 AMOUNT!!! Sadly, by true!!
