The Samsung Galaxy Ace is not a high-end Android phone, but it is tempting at $29 off contract. This works on Straight Talk Wireless, a carrier that is available through Walmart at $45 a month with unlimited talk and text, plus a workable amount of data. This is $100 off the normal price at Walmart. 

Here's the problem with the Galaxy Ace Black Friday deal. You're buying a phone with an old low resolution display, an old version of Android and a camera that is not going to be something to write home about. The front facing camera is only VGA quality, so kiss sharp selfies good buy. There is only 4.86GB of user accessible data, but you can add a Micro SD card to store your photos on. There is also no 4G LTE data connectivity, so everything is going to be slower than you'd see on other new phones. 

Your best bet is to skip this deal and look for a used Galaxy S3 for about $100 off contract. It's more expensive, but it's a much better phone. On the upside, most user Galaxy Ace reviews are positive.

    I thought this was a new model (quad core ver.) the old one had a dual core. There are almost no reviews on this quad core table at all, the reviews are for the old model, but I don’t know if it’s any better.

    This would be a great deal if you can register it! However low and behold you can not! Constant error page….extremely frustrating!

    my walmart (st augustine fl) was awesome! stood in line a little bit with a few whiners, but the staff was great, they knew everything and had a smile. i get the registration error also. i have till dec 1 to get it fixed. i’m sure its a server of web problem and nothing to worry about. if you feel the need to panic, and cry because some retailer offers a pretty good deal, go get your money back.

      look if you got time to stand in line after line trying to get this resolved then fine ,get back in line for hours and shut your stupid face.Meanwhile those of us that actually have lives and would like to get back to them ,will complain because these deals dwindle every time you gotta go back.QUIT WASTING OUR TIME WALMART.WASTE NEZ TIME ,STANDING IN LINE AND STAYING SHUT IS WHAT NEZ LIVES FOR.

    nez, The problem with your argument is that Walmart should have been prepared for this. Customers are told, “All you have to do is put in a code online and it’ll be shipped to your store!” and then when you try to go register it, they cant even get their website to work. That’s unacceptable, so yes, customers have the right to complain. This is a decent deal, but its not like this is a Samsung or a Vizio TV. My receipt didnt even come with the code needed to redeem the deal online, so now I have to drive BACK to the store, which is an hour away, to get the problem fixed. NEVER AGAIN will I do Black Friday at Walmart…THIS HAS BEEN A TOTAL JOKE!

      There is a number above the barcode and that is what you need. Every receipt has one.

    WTH??? It was simple for me to register as 1,2,3! Must be a server problem but it’s certainly not a Walmart problem. Just be patient & try again later. ALSO the code is listed under ITEMS SOLD…you can’t miss it! It’s the TC# Happy Holidays Everyone! :)

    Don’t worry. .I tried to register. .but the first two time’s it wouldn’t go through. .but on the third try it went through. .just try to have a little patience. .it’s been a lot going on in these part’s. .so i would like to say to everyone. .Happy holidays. .may it continue to be Blessed. .and remember to pray for our community. .that are going through. ..be Blessed everyone

    I bought the 50 “TV and the walmart sight keeps saying my TR# invalid . They sure didn’t have any problems taking my money. I have Tried since Friday. I am at a loss

    I have a voucher for the 50″ tv and paid receipt. I bought it in Jefferson City, Tn and want to pick it up in Jacksonville, fl, at store number 5054. I went into your store #5054 and no would help me. I don’t have a computer and am using a friends which brought a whole new set of problems. my receipt # is 274104202004115224689. My phone number is 561 704 0193. anything you can do to help me resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. thank you for any assistance you can give. Eileen Carsten.

    I had no problem with registering the hp notebook Thanksgiving night. However it is taking forever to come in and I had some unexpected medical necessities come up this week that left me broke. I figured I would just go and get a refund. I called 1-800-Wal-Mart and was told I could do that and the store manager needs to do it. I went to the store and they said no I had to wait. I called the 800 number then as the associate was calling the manager, the 800 lady told me I was told wrong. I did have to wait until Dec 24th. The store manager never came to speak to me. So long story short (haha), don’t ask for your money back. Even though we HAVE to pay for it right then!! SMH

    I got a message Monday saying that the TV is being ready to be shipped. That would make it roughly a week after registering on Black Friday.

    I had no issues doing the registration and the clerks didn’t mess up the recept. Let’s see how long til its dropped off

    I stood in line from 3 til 6 on Thanksgiving day and was number 44 in line for the 50 inch tv. Got my ticket paid for the tv by 6:30 stood in another line for an hour only to be told that I had to register online to recieve it. I had family that arrived at 5:30 and got tvs. Never again will I deal with my local Walmart. I still don’t have my tv and truly doubt I will ever get it

    My issue with my one hour guarantee was that the cashier marked the item as i had received it in store on BF ( I did not). My local stores ( Orlando, Fl) “fix” was to keep the money and give me a rain check for IF the item comes back in as regular inventory… NOT happy.. the only reason i deal with it is the 65 inch was a GOOD deal.. if i ever get it..

    After finally getting the tablet l purchased as l open the box low and behold the screen is broken!! I returned it to Walmart and was told l could not get it replaced AND although l paid cash with the receipt l was told l would get store credit…and of course all management is on vacation!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO WALMART!!!!!!!!!…THEY CAN HAND OUT $1000 BILLS AS YOU ENTER AND I STILL WOULD NOT GO!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
