If you have a smartphone on Verizon Wireless and like Football, then you have yet another reasons to celebrate the end of the NFL strike and start of the pre season.
Right now, you can download the NFL Mobile app from Verizon to your compatible Android phone and tune in to select preseason games complete with live video. This means you can tune in on Saturday evening to see the Cleveland Browns take on the Green Bay Packers no matter where you are.

During the pre season, the games are free. During the regular season, you will need to pay to watch the live games, but the team score updates are free. You can purchase a season pass or just 24 hour video access, depending on your needs.
As a displaced Dolphins fan, in the Midwest, I have been using this app to keep track of my team, even though I can’t see them on TV more than once or twice a season. Unfortunately you may have issues on rooted devices, depending on your ROM. This appears to have more to do with the ROM internals than a conspiracy to prevent root users from rooting for their home team.

I use to get it on my android! And enjoy all the features for 10 dollars a month for v cast that was put on my bill every month. Now they (Verizon) are telling me that its gonna cost more $$! Verizon is so greedy! I can’t wait til my contract is over because. IM GETTING VERIZON OUT OF MY WALLET FOR GOOD! when I bought my DROIDX ($500) almost two years ago. Those liars @ verizon told me as long as I pay the $10/month for vcast it will always be on! Don’t download this its BS!
