White HTC EVO 4G LTE Coming to Sprint Mid-July

It looks like the white edition of the HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone will be hitting the Now Network in mid-July. According to a report on TechnoBuffalo, the smartphone will be arriving on Sprint come July 15th and will be joining the black version of the phone.

The HTC EVO 4G LTE continues Sprint’s EVO franchise and like the first HTC EVO 4G, this one features a kickstand. Unlike the original and other previous Sprint 4G smartphones, the latest HTC EVO 4G LTE makes use of LTE technology, rather than WiMax, to power fast mobile broadband. Sprint is slowly prepping its network for LTE.

The HTC EVO 4G LTE is similar to the GSM edition of the HTC One X and is Sprint’s answer to rival AT&T’s One X smartphone. The device features a 720p HD display, an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. It will cost $200 with a two-year contract.

Additionally, according to the same trusted source, TechnoBuffalo is also reporting that the Galaxy S II device on Sprint, also known as the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, will be getting a special buy one, get one free promo starting the same day. The Sprint edition of the Epic 4G Touch makes use of Samsung’s dual-core Exynos processor and works on Sprint’s WiMax network. Additionally, Sprint is now also carrying the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone as well.
