Xbox One Release Date Could Beat PS4

Published

on

The Xbox One release date still isn’t set in stone though Microsoft has confirmed the console’s arrival for November. Today though, we’re hearing about a possible Xbox One release date of November 8th which, if true, would mean that the Xbox One would beat Sony’s PlayStation 4 release date of November 15th.

Microsoft confirmed the Xbox One release date for arrival in November for a number of regions around the world, including the United States. The company, unlike Sony, has yet to confirm a specific release date for its next-generation console, leaving those who pre-ordered wondering when it might be out on shelves.

The Xbox One release date has been pegged for November 8th.

If a new leak from Kotaku is dead on, the Xbox One release date might land on November 8th, or, a few days ahead of the PlayStation 4 release date which is confirmed for November 15th. The leak comes from a company that works with Walmart to develop signage and product placement for products, so it’s entirely possible that the company has intimate knowledge about the Xbox One release.

The evidence comes in the form of a launch schedule which includes the Xbox One with a release date clearly pegged for November 8th. What’s interesting though is that while the other dates are “confirmed” the Xbox One does not have that moniker attached to it, meaning, Microsoft is likely still throwing around dates for the Xbox One’s release.

The date likely emerged recently and it’s a sign that Microsoft could be toying with the idea of beating the PS4 to release, now that the console has a release date set in stone.

It’s unclear when Microsoft might finally announce an Xbox One release but consumers can expect it to do so with ample time between announcement and release.

The Xbox One release date appears to be tentative.

Recently, the company was forced to push back the release dates for some regions around the world due in part to high demand for its next-generation console.

The company will still issue the Xbox One in November for Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand but the release in the other countries that were originally part of the initial launch announcement have been pushed back.

Microsoft’s Xbox One is poised to replace the Xbox 360, Microsoft’s long time console, with upgraded hardware, a steeper price tag, a new interface and a ton of big name games that will include Forza 5, Madden 25, and more.

my classmate’s sister-in-law makes $86 hourly on the computer. She has been out of work for seven months but last month her pay was $19644 just working on the computer for a few hours. Go to this web site and read more… https://goo.gg/NR

It’s a shame that most of the world will have to wait until 2014 for it. It proves how unprepared Microsoft was, when Sony released their next gen consoles to the world.

I’m still switching to PS4… It’s just a better system.

If I was CEO of Xbox, Xbox One should be release earlier at least September 22. A week ahead versus a $100 off is still not swaying people to get Xbox One. Although I’m getting both more likely anyway it goes.

People keep saying the PS4 is a better system. I don’t get that at all. From what I’ve seen, with the changes Microsoft has made, and the added innovation of the cloud for multiplayer and updates, plus the multimedia and social media functions, the Xbox One is actually better. Technical specs are identical with the fixes to the graphics ram. I’m sticking with Xbox, just waiting for the price drop within the first few months of 2014. And I’m just not into the Japanese made games. Just can’t get over the cheesy dialogue, I guess. Think it’s funny too, to hear all these people jumping on the Playstation bandwagon, and yet preorders for Xbox sold out in less than 24 hours. Even more hilarious is the war of words between fanboys of both sides.

the funny part. is the ps4 was sold out before the xbox one… YOu must be a fanboy of microsoft to say they sold out in 24 hrs which is false. even microsoft said they exspect sony to outcome them on launch and are hoping they turn it around in time. not this time thoough sony flawed by being blu ray. yes microsoft gmaes sold more. maybe because the ps3 users never had to really buy a second or third disc of a game they loved… fail

Better console configuration is not equal to better experience. A lot depends on the software what it runs.

I like the xbox. All my friends are on it. I will buy the Xbox one. BUT it needs to be said. Guys this is a game changer for both consoles and the WORLD. Until each is up and running. We will see what the deficiancies of each are. To say “im switching” not knowing what the heck will happen and if either is worth a hoot seems wierd to me. Do you really think they didnt put millions of r and d making these consoles to be forward compatiable. The current gens have lasted 6? 7? years? with minor changes.

The same fan boys screaming “PS4 is better, look at the specs!” are the same folks who own an iPhone and tell Android owners “Galaxy and One may be more powerful and faster, but its not about specs.” Nothing entertains me more than fan boy rants. They show me how stupid and sheep like people really can be, Its going to be about user experience in the end. I’m getting both on launch day. I think XB1 has the edge when it comes to the online experience, just because LIVE is a mature service and its part of the end user experience. I just want to play good games regardless off the system. For less than the price of a decent PC gaming rig I get two new systems to hook up to my 80″ TV screen. WIn/Win for me.
