I’m not sure this will be a solution for many, but if you’re without power out in the wild it might just be the thing. The National Geographic is selling a Hand-Crank USB Power Charger that allows you to crank up some juice for your mobile device. You device needs a USB connection and yes, you can plug it in to an AC outlet if you don’t want to do all that cranking.
