    I read in a forum not long ago that a buyer who opened this Seagate disk actually found a Samsung HDD inside, so the first batch may have been Samsung disks put inside before seagate start producing their own 500gb 2.5″ disks. Nevertheless its a nice product with nice design, I might opt for the 3.5″ 1.5GB Seagate Freeagent instead.
