Qualcomm’s Pursebook MID

Warner Crocker —  04/04/2009

At CTIA Qualcomm showed off a prototype MID or Netbook or something that they are calling a Pursebook built by Wistron. The name of the prototype certainly hints at the intended market. Engadget got to spend some time with the prototype and posted a quick video which you can check out here. Price point is guestimated at somewhere between $299 and $499 and we’re talking Linux as a Thundersoft Linux distro for the OS running on a Snapdragon chipset.
