SLAP Widgets for your Surface Computer

Warner Crocker —  04/11/2009

OK, first you need to pony up the dough for a Surface Computer. No easy task there, but let’s assume you’ve done that part. You might want to check out what the folks at Silicon Illuminated Active Peripherals (SLAP) are working on. Their SLAP widgets can be placed on your Surface Computer and used as context-specific controls.

seriously something for microsoft and others to poke at.

a ms surface table with a drawer/shelf of interface objects maybe?

  2. Really cool! But not for use in a public place like a bar (which I’ve seen in the prospective usage scenarios)unless they come up with a way to put them in place permanently. They say they are inexpensive, but I suspect not so cheap that you would want people walking off with them as a souvenir.
