OneNote 2010 Screen Shots

Here are some screen shots from the OneNote 2010 Technical Preview showing of the Ribbon interface and what is contained under each heading, as well as what is available by clicking on the OneNote icon to work with a document. (The OneNote icon is in the place that the Orb used to be in Office 2007 applications that used the ribbon.)   You should be able to click on each image for a larger view.

  1. Thanks for the quick postings. Aside from the ribbon, do you see any obvious improvements?
The sharing cababilities including the web version of OneNote and the hopefully improved mobile version will really add some true bang for the buck.
It would be great to integrate bing! into OneNone to automatically file your searches.

  2. Warner:

Just finished downloading the 64-bit version of Office 2010 but may not get to try it out for a couple more days. Did you try out the full-screen view? What does the full-screen toolbar look like and is it customizable like in OneNote 2007? If you can, post a screen shot.

  3. Lukasz,

To be honest, I’ve experimented very little as I’m in the middle of a busy day or two. I’ll be posting what I discover as I do.

    Andy,

According to what I’ve seen, yes.

  4. The ribbon is really the ONLY improvement besides Sharepoint features that I can see in the version I’ve been using, which admittedly is an older build.

I hate the new ‘file’ menu though that is shown in the last four screenshots. I like the ribbon though, it helps for Onenote, and being able to minimize it is nice as well.

  5. I’ll dig into OneNote more once I feel a little more comfortable with its stability to want to throw it on my work tablet. However, I will say that Outlook 2010 is absolutely AWESOME! No chance am I going back unless this preview turns out to be as unstable as Charles Manson (but early signs are promising).
