I wish I could have posted this earlier today, but it has been one of those days.
Today is the anniversary of the first moon landing 40 years ago. To celebrate the feat Carina Software is offering deals on some of their excellent astronomy software. They did have a deal on their desktop software apps enabling you to purchase them for $.01, but apparently the volume of users taking them up on it caused the automated serial number generator and put them in violation of their provider’s TOS. At the moment that offer is suspended but you may want to keep an eye on the site.
But, if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch you can pick up free versions (today only) of SkyVoyager and/or SkyGazer for those devices.
