In the south hall of the CES, Kodak hosted a massive booth to showcase their cameras and accessories. Wouldn’t normally be a big draw for me, but then I saw the ginormous surface computing system set up like a waterfall and river through the middle of their showcase. I want to go to there.
And I did and got my hands on both that massive surface computing area and three other normal-sized Microsoft Surface stations throughout their showcase. Pretty much limited to showing off Kodak products, of course, but it was still fun to see the RF ID in action and try out multi-touch control on a really big screen, which I captured on video. Fair warning: I didn’t let the restricted functionality prevent me from going at it like a kid in a candy store (i.e., last two videos are just me playing).
