Mugen Extends Your Battery Life for the MiFi

By  |  1 Comment

If you’re a fan of the Novatel MiFi wireless cards, and who isn’t, you might be interested in this. Looks like Mugen power is making an external battery solution for the devices that will give you some extra juice. The MiFi is a great solution for being connected on the go and its one drawback is the battery life. Best case you’ll see about 4 hours. I’m not seeing word yet on how much extra time these batteries will give you. Apparently word has been out on these for awhile but I’ve missed it until now.

The Mugen battery will set you back $96.25 and at the moment I’m seeing listings for the Verizon model and the straight up Novatel model. Nothing yet for the Sprint version. It certainly doesn’t look like a very elegant solution, but if you’re in need of extra juice does that really matter? Shipping is listed for September 24.

So, who’s buying?

I’m not buying at that price. Half that and I’d be tempted.
