Samsung Galaxy Tab at Verizon November 11 for $600.

Verizon is announcing that it will put the Samsung Galaxy Tab up for sale beginning November 11 for a price of $600. There is no contract requirement and you can add on a 1GB data plan for $20 a month. There is no word yet as to whether that is contract based or month to month.

Sandpaper will cost extra, though and will not be available in Verizon stores.

    $600? What a blunder. I guess they just want this to be a niche tablet and don’t really want to fully compete with the iPad, just sell a few as alternative device.
