Microsoft Brushes Off I’m a PC Ads To Try and Stay Relevant

Forget market share. Microsoft is trying to hang on to whatever mind share it can. It looks like Redmond is dusting off the I’m A PC advertising theme with some new twists in order to stay relevant. The campaign is supposed to break today and below is the first new commercial in the bunch. It focuses on a lady named Julie who had given up on Microsoft so Microsoft builds a small Microsoft store in her house to prove her wrong.

Here’s hoping Microsoft doesn’t have to build lots of these personal stores to prove its worth to other customers.

    Okay, it does come across as a bit desperate, but that last bit is priceless “I’m a PC and I’m going to kill him.” Love it. Too often MS comes across as without any sense of humour whatsoever, maybe this could help their public profile after all…
