Alas, given what this puppy is going to cost, non-replaceable battery is a deal breaker. Too bad, ’cause it looks mighty fine otherwise.

It would be appreciated if the type of digititizer would be listed (wacom, N-Trig, other) Since it is 10.1″ it must be a N-Trig digitizer as Wacom doesn’t make one this size. This can also be a deal breaker for many.

There
doesn’t appear to be an option for Motion’s indoor-outdoor/ViewAnywhere display
on their order page, and I don’t immediately see mention in their promo sheets
about outdoor readability. They’ve posted pictures of it being used outdoors,
but absent supporting claims in text, I’m ambivalent.
I haven’t
followed the tech in a couple of years, but I’m given to understand that
Motion’s ViewAnywhere displays disable touch. I’d be fine with that. At this
starting price, and assuming no-hassle inking, I’d forego touch for a
contemporary Motion product I could reliably use outdoors.

These are not shipping now. Not until the middle or end of June. Unless you have a purchasing source that the rest of us are not aware of.
