If a report from BriefMobile holds up, AT&T’s Motorola Atrix 4G will be seeing its Gingerbread update roll out at some point during the month of July as Motorola and AT&T have finally gotten down to the final build.

We had previously heard that the Atrix 4G’s boost to Android 2.3 would arrive in June or July so July shouldn’t be too shocking for owners that have been following along with the developments. It was also at that time that a preview video of the update surfaced, a video that Atrix 4G owners have probably watched a hundred times over.

Well, the real deal is coming and it’s going to bring the new MotoBlur that we loved on the Motorola Droid X2 as well as the ability to sideload applications. There will also be some other changes including:

  • Overscroll glow
  • Application grouping
  • Re-built main applications
  • Downloads management
  • Improved camera
  • Better power management
  • Re-done keyboard
  • New animations

Unfortunately, it looks like July’s release will be Android 2.3.3 and not the Android 2.3.4 update that bring Google Talk video chat.
