Droid Xyboard Tablets Pegged for December 12th Release on Verizon

Just a short time after the Verizon bound Samsung Galaxy Nexus had its release date all but confirmed, it appears two other devices that will be gracing Big Red’s network in the days ahead, the Motorola Xyboard tablets, have gotten unconfirmed but probable release dates as well. According to a document obtained by Droid-Life, the Xyboard tablets will be launching on December 12th.

If you recall, Verizon announced both the Droid Xyboard 10.1 and Xyboard 8.2 earlier today but rather curiously left out the official release dates for the tablets that will soon replace the Xoom.

Now it appears that we have our date.

The Droid XYBOARD 10.1 will arrive in three different flavors. A 16 GB for $529.99, a 32 GB for $629.99 and a 64 GB for $729.99. The smaller of the two, the XYBOARD 8.2, will come in two sizes,  16 GB for $429.99 and 32 GB for $529.99.
