While Americans are still waiting for AT&T to announce when the LTE-enabled Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone will be released for consumer availability, Canadians are now offered the ability to pre-order the device. Canadian carrier Rogers has now announced that the device can be pre-ordered for $99.99 with a 3-year contract, which is typical for Canada.

The Nokia Lumia 900 was first announced at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, featuring dual wide-angled Carl Zeiss cameras. The Lumia 900 is the first Nokia Windows Phone-powered handset to have a front-facing camera for video chats, and with a wide-angled lens, Nokia says you can fit more people into your video conversations. The device has a similar styling to the Nokia Lumia 800, but has a larger 4.3-inch display.

According to Rogers and Nokia, those who pre-order the Nokia Lumia 900 will also have a chance to be entered to be part of a private screening of The Dark Knight Rises, which will be coming to theaters starting July 20.

According to Mobile Syrup, that contest ends on April 10, 2012, suggesting that the Lumia 900 be become available starting April 10, 2012 on Rogers. The full retail price may come to about $700, as deduced from contest language.

The April 10th launch date in Canada is close to the latest rumored April 8th premier date for AT&T. According to the latest speculations, the Lumia 900 will debut for customers who had pre-ordered starting April 8th and for everyone else, including those who want to order online, starting on April 9th. The device was first believed to launch later this month, but may have faced some delays.
