The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is finally available on Verizon Wireless for $149 after a $50 mail in rebate.
Unlike most 4G LTE smartphones the Droid Incredible 4G LTE has a 4-inch display which makes for a smaller size than the upcoming Galaxy S III.
The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE has a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and runs Android 4.0. The Incredible 4G LTE also includes Beats Audio for an enhanced audio experience. Users will find 8GB of built-in storage, expandable with up to a 32GB MicroSD card.
HTC includes an upgraded 8.0MP camera on the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. While it does not have the new ImageSense technology, the Incredible 4G LTE has a back illuminated sensor which typically delivers better photos on smartphones.
The display is still qHD, which is lower quality than many of the latest smartphones, so it may be worth looking at one in store before pulling the trigger. qHD display don’t bother some users, but are a sticking point for others.
The 4G LTE connection provides download and upload speeds up to 10 times faster than the older 3G Droid Incredible and other 3G smartphones.
Starting today users can pick up the Droid Incredible 4G LTE in Verizon stores for $199 with a $50 mail in rebate that drops the price down to $149.99 or online for $149 after an instant discount.
