Samsung Giving $50 Google Play Credit to Galaxy Note 3 Owners

Samsung is already in the giving mood for the holiday season. If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owner, Samsung is giving away a $50 credit on the Google Play Store. Sorry, the offer is only valid in the US. The offer is positioned as both a thank you to current Galaxy Note 3 customers and as an enticement to those who might be thinking of making a purchase. According to the site, you can save the page or email and still make redeem the code after you’ve made a purchase. The offer ends at midnight on January 6, 2014.

To claim your $50 Google Play credit follow this link. You’ll need to provide some info (phone number, name, email address, and IMEI.) Once you’ve done the clerical work and submitted, you’ll get a confirmation code for doing so. Your redemption code will be sent later by email. My redemption code arrived within minutes of filling out the info.

  1. Thanks Warner for posting this. Unfortunately they are already out of them and I did not get one.

I am a little miffed about this one. I bought my galaxy note 3 the day it was available on October 4. I have gone into the Best Buy stores and talked to Samsung reps multiple times about switching from iPhone to Galaxy note 3 and none of them has ever identified this particular promotion. I spoke to an AT&T store representative about me moving from iOS to Android and all of the apps I would need to repurchase and he didn’t mention this promotion. I also registered and went to the Samsung galaxy note 3 website multiple times and never saw anything pointing me to this promotion. I read many blogs and this post is the first time I’ve seen anybody point this promotion out. I could have used the $50 to buy the new apps.
