Google only launched one Nexus tablet in 2014. However, the company did push out an extremely intriguing Google Play Edition of the LG G Pad 8.3 that brings stock Android and an extremely cheap price to those looking to snag a solid budget Android tablet.
We can't see Google ditching this program completely in 2014 and thus, we are excited about what the future might hold for the Google Play Edition program. Perhaps, Google will release a follow up to the LG G Pad 8.3. Perhaps, we'll see a Sony tablet land on Google's Play Store. There are a lot of possibilities here and consumers should be excited about what could come in the future. |
