New HTC One M8 Accessories Arrive at Best Buy for Early Buyers

Users now standing in line at their local Verizon Store to purchase the HTC One M8, HTC’s latest flagship smartphone, may want to visit Best Buy’s online store before settling in. That’s where they’ll find the HTC One Double Dip , HTC Dot View and HTC Flip Cases for the new handset.

The new line up of accessories surfaced on Best Buy’s website just moments ago and includes a different case at just about every price point. Unfortunately, none of them are actually available to order just yet.

Coming in at $29.99 is the HTC Double Dip Case. It’s really a plastic shell that allows users to snap smaller different colored shells around its speaker grills for a little bit of added flair. Color combinations include Blue, Orange Popsicle, Swing Blue, Atlantis, Light Peach, Gray, and Raspberry Rose. The case seems to be made of hardened plastic.

At $39.99 there’s the HTC Flip Case. Like its name implies, the case acts as a full body protective cover for the newly announced HTC One M8 and has a flap that protects the device’s screen from keys and other objects that might be in user’s pockets at the same time. There are holes for the new HTC One’s BoomSound speakers so users are able to listen to their favorite music without putting on headphones or opening the front cover. Unfortunately, Best Buy’s description doesn’t name what the actual material this case is made out of. Instead it only says that it “offers reliable protection against damage.” Color options for the Flip Case include Warm Black, Sweet Lilac, Poppy Red, Orange Popsicle, Atlantis and Light Brown.

No doubt it’s the Dot View Case that users are going to be excited about the most. It allows new HTC One owners to get notifications and check the time without opening the case’s flap at all. The device simply surfaces the latest information through the dots carved into the case’s flap. The new HTC One Dot View Case comes in Atlantis, Orange Popsicle, Baton Rouge, Warm Black and Imperial Blue for $49.99.

Finally, there’s also a refreshed Car Kit exclusively for the new HTC One. It includes a suction cup and integrated USB port so that users can hop into their car and charge their new HTC One without worry about small cables and connectors. Like the device’s other accessories, it too isn’t shipping yet but will cost $69.99 when it does.

All told, it’s a pretty robust offering for anyone who is already in line at their local Verizon store or making plans to pre-order the new HTC One in the near future. The new HTC One is available at Verizon stores now for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The device will launch on other networks on April 11^th.
