Nexus 6 Deal Offers Free Google Music Unlimited Access

As promised, this morning Google officially kicked off pre-orders for the brand new Nexus 6 smartphone. Google’s latest Nexus phone was announced earlier this month and is set to hit multiple carriers in the United States in early November, but the release date is still a mystery for most. That being said, we now have a rough ship date, and a new Nexus 6 deal has arrived with it.

Along with pre-orders kicking off this morning, and going in and out of stock every few minutes as Google handle’s the order process, and exciting new Nexus 6 deal offering free Google Play Music Unlimited All Access has arrived.

Google Play Music All Access, or Google Music “Unlimited” gives users complete access to the hundreds of thousands of songs available from Google Play Music. This unlimited service was first launched last year for $7.99 a month, and is now $9.99 for current subscribers. However, you can get it free with the Nexus 6.

Last minute Nexus 6 release tips for users who will pre-order.

This morning Google has announced that all who buy the brand new Nexus 6 between today and December 31st 2014, will get six months of free Google Music Unlimited music streaming. This is the first deal for the Nexus 6, and is one more benefit of getting Google’s latest flagship smartphone.

The Nexus 6 offers a large 5.96-inch Quad HD display with a stunning 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD resolution, a powerful quad-core processor, improved camera, and a huge battery. It is the biggest and best Nexus to date. One more key feature is the addition of dual front facing speakers.

Similar to the HTC One M8 or new Moto X 2014, the Nexus 6 has two front facing speakers that offer stunning sound output while watching movies, viewing YouTube, and of course listening to music. There’s no better way to highlight the new front speakers than to offer free music streaming packages, so they’re doing exactly that.

As you can see above, all who order the Nexus 6 get six months of free Google Music unlimited streaming. This offer ends on December 31st, and must be redeemed before the end of January. Of course, after the 6 month free trial ends, users must cancel the Google Music All Access subscription, or they’ll be billed the usual $9.99 monthly rate Google’s been charging for the music service.

A Google Play Music unlimited subscription entitles subscribers to listen to unlimited music from the song titles available within Google Play on a monthly basis.

As expected, any user that signed up for the free Google Music All Access when it was announced last year won’t be able to participate, so this is geared for new users, and is available in the United States only.

We still don’t have an actual release date for the Nexus 6, but the Play Store lists shipping will commence in 3-4 weeks. All five major carriers in the United States will offer the Nexus 6, but none have made formal announcements, release date details, or even opened pre-orders. We’ll update once we know more.
