It's hard to imagine that video game developer and publisher Electronic Arts ever has plans to stop releasing a new Madden every year. Why should they? Each time we think the company has maxed out the potential of the franchise it comes back even stronger and better than before.

Madden 16's cover athlete is Odell Beckham Jr, a relatively recent recruit to the New York Giants. Electronic Arts is adjusting the play mechanics again with this release, introducing a risk vs. reward system for offensive players crazy enough to try different plays. Beyond updated Connected Franchise and Ultimate Team modes, expect new camera angles and recording options so that when you do land a decent play you'll be proud to show it off.

Madden 16 arrives on store shelves August 28th.
