If you own an iPad with 16GB of storage or if you're getting close to the storage limit, you'll be able to know that the iOS 9 update won't need a lot of free space to install Over-the-Air. 

The iPad iOS 9 update should only require a little more than 1GB of storage space to install via Settings. This is huge for 16GB users because it means they won't have to delete a ton of files to install the update Over-the-Air.

If you can't delete any files and the file size is too big, you can always install the update using iTunes. It doesn't require a ton of free space to install. 

While these changes are nice, we do expect there to be installation problems and issues with iOS 9 download times. These will likely occur during peak hours when everyone is slamming Apple's servers with download requests. 

If you don't want to deal with long download times, you'll want to install the update once the mad dash has ended a few hours after release.
