T-Mobile Black Friday 2015 Deals

Published

on

To kickoff the Black Friday 2015 shopping frenzy T-Mobile just announced a slew of impressive deals. From free unlimited 4G LTE data for almost everyone, a free tablet, to a free Galaxy S6. Read on for everything you need to know about T-Mobile Black Friday deals in 2015.

Earlier today both Verizon and Sprint released some information about their plans for Black Friday, but none of them are quite as good as T-Mobile’s. In fact, T-Mobile beats them all by a long-shot by offering free phones, tablets, data, iPhone 6s upgrades and more each week for the next three weeks.

Verizon’s Black Friday deals aren’t anything impressive, and the best part of Sprint’s Black Friday deals is the free 24-inch LG HDTV for those who buy the LG G4. However, T-Mobile is amping up the holiday season unlike ever before with some show-stopper “uncarrier” deals buyers won’t want to miss. Read on past the break for all the T-Mobile Black Friday 2015 deals.

The biggest deal we’ve seen yet in the wireless space is a Black Friday or “holiday” deal from T-Mobile. The carrier is giving all customers on Simple Choice plans unlimited 4G LTE free for three months, including business customers. From December 1st to March 1st, users will get unlimited 4G LTE at no additional charge. This is only for those on Simple Choice post-paid plans, and tethering is not included sadly.

T-Mobile claims this is the biggest deal from any carrier this holiday season, and we’d have to agree. Most are just trying to get customers to switch and offering discounts, but T-Mobile is giving stuff away for free. It’s worth noting that the unlimited 4G LTE doesn’t include tethering or usual unlimited perks like Vudu movie rentals, and if users abuse or misuse the unlimited LTE it may be taken away at T-Mobile’s discretion.

However, that’s just the first deal of many. T-Mobile is also giving away a free tablet, the Galaxy S6, huge savings on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on Cyber Monday, and one deal a week each week for the next three weeks aimed at Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint customers. Once a week starting on Monday T-Mobile will announce a crazy deal aimed directly at those on other carriers, giving them an incentive to switch to T-Mobile.

T-Mobile’s Black Friday 2015 deals don’t start on Thursday either, they start on Wednesday November 25th, and here’s what buyers need to know.

Free Galaxy S6

On Wednesday T-Mobile will start offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 completely free. It will be $0 down and $0 a month “with an eligible trade-in.” Then, users are required to sign up for an 18-month T-Mobile Jump On-Demand plan. As well as pay taxes and fees. Buyers won’t have to pay for the phone, but at the end of the 18 months you’ll need to give the Galaxy S6 back, or pay off the remaining balance and keep using it. This is a huge deal. It’s a free phone, not just a discount like Verizon or Sprint.

Galaxy-S6-15

Along with the impressive Galaxy S6 deal those who buy any Samsung smartphone from T-Mobile will get $100 off any Samsung Galaxy tablet from T-Mobile. This will be in the form of a $100 pre-paid Mastercard after you buy the tablet.

Free Tablet

T-Mobile is also giving out a free tablet starting Wednesday, and all weekend for Black Friday 2015. It is the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 7-inch Android tablet. It will be $0 down and $0 a month, but requires a qualifying data plan to go along with it. Users will be required to pay taxes and fees also, but get the $170 tablet absolutely free. Again, this is limited as long as supplies last.

With BingeON, T-Mobile’s unlimited free video streaming, users will be able to stream tons of content that doesn’t count towards their data plan, on this new free tablet. It’s a decent deal, but it’s no iPad or Galaxy Tab S2, that’s for sure.

iPhone 6s Upgrade

For Cyber Monday T-Mobile has returned its popular iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus upgrade promotion. Those who buy the 16GB iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus will automatically get upgraded to the 64GB model absolutely free.

Then of course T-Mobile is offering the 128GB iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for the price of the 64GB model, for those who need even more storage. This was extremely popular when the iPhone 6s launched in September, and it’s back for one day only, Cyber Monday. On Monday the free Galaxy S6 will be available again as well, but only for a limited time.

T-Mobile will also be offering the popular UE Boom Bluetooth speaker for $100 off, which retails for $199, allowing for excellent music playback on an array of devices. With T-Mobile Music Freedom users can stream unlimited music without counting towards data, which will go perfect with the discounted speaker.

And finally, T-Mobile states that starting on Monday, and each Monday for three weeks they’ll be making major announcements with stunning holiday deals aimed at Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint customers. Each week a different carrier will be targeted, and T-Mobile will have deals for those “mistreated customers” to switch to T-Mobile. All these deals go live at T-Mobile stores and online starting this Wednesday, except for the iPhone 6s on Cyber Monday and the carrier deals.

More details about any and all deals and savings can be found at our Black Friday 2015 Portal.

“On Wednesday T-Mobile will start offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 completely free”

This doesn’t make any sense. Do you get the trade in value of the phone + the 18 month no payment, or does the trade in pretty much cover the cost of the phone for 18 months? If they aren’t giving you any money for it, then all it means is that you’re selling your phone to them (at a much lower value than if you were to sell it on eBay), and the money is being put towards your phone – i.e. the phone is NOT free…not even close.

At the end of the 18th month what would the remaining balance be? Is this just another con into trying to get someone to rent a phone?

“On Wednesday T-Mobile will start offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 completely free”… “with an eligible trade-in.” I contacted Tmobile and the trade-ins are:
    iPhone 6
    iPhone 6 Plus
    iPhone 6s
    iPhone 6s Plus
    Samsung GS 6
    Samsung GS 6 edge
    Samsung GS 6 edge+
    Samsung GS 5
    Samsung Note 5
    Samsung Note 4
    Samsung Note edge

So not really much of a deal. I think its their regular upgrade deal that TMobile has always had.

The savings might be worth the hassle but only if your family is in an apartment, and renting on at least the 4th story of the building.

T-Mobile issued a news article not too long ago and said “Our network has trouble with building walls and long distances”. If you google that, you’ll find the news article.

The article is certainly worth reading especially if your apartment doesn’t have free wifi. You may be stuck wasting a few days time travelling to stores with the phones in-stock, transferring the numbers, and also waiting two weeks for their corporate office to issue a refund check if the coverage doesn’t work…
