The new Philips Izzy line of speakers were among the devices shown off at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The extensive range of silver speakers includes the Philips Izzy BM5, Philips Izzy BM6, Philips BM7 and the Philips Izzy BM50. Each of these speakers has built-in controls so that users can skip to the next song or take a phone call without pulling out their smartphone. The speakers all link together wirelessly if they’re within 100m with a button press, letting buyers create their own custom sound system throughout their home.

Izzy BM50 sports a base pipe and a 40 watt amp. Every device in the line-up has Bluetooth connectivity for music from a phone, the BM50 sports CD, direct USB and FM radio playback too. Izzy BM6 is a mobile speaker that has two drivers and a built-in chargeable battery. It has an iPX4 rating too, meaning it’s great in a shower or pool area. The Phillips Izzy BM7 offers a single tweeter, two woofers and 2 sound radiators for the best sound possible. Built-in NFC technology inside this speaker lets Android smartphones pair the device quickly.

Of all the Phillips Izzy equipment announced at CES 2016, only the Izzy BM5 is available for purchase today. It has two 2.5-inch drivers and is designed to fill a single room for sound. It’s perfect for situations where the speaker built into your computer or smartphone just won’t do. This speaker costs $99 at Amazon.
