Originally sold only with the 2016 Call of Duty game Infinite Warfare, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date is here for the PS4 and the Xbox One and PC release dates are coming. This brings the classic Call of Duty 4 game to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC without the need to buy Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or the need to wait for Call of Duty: WWII for boots on the ground combat.

While many gamers bought this with Infinite Warfare, that is no longer the only way to buy it. The PS4 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date is on June 27th and the game will come to Xbox One and PC later.

The original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrived in 2007 from Infinity Ward, redefining the Call of Duty experience. In 2016 the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare release date delivered a remastered version in an expensive bundle. Now you can play this throwback without buying Infinite Warfare.

We’ll walk through what we know about the standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date, what the game contains, who is making it and offer up some visual comparisons to help you understand what is coming.

Your stats will not transfer over from Call of Duty 4 on Xbox 360 or PS3 to the new game. There will be dedicated servers for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer mode.

There is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy that allows you to play Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, but it is not connected to this game. This is a special pack for PS3 and Xbox 360. It is not remastered and it is not for the Xbox One or PS4.

The in-game movement will stay true to the original game, so you don’t need to worry about advanced movement and chain based movement getting in the way of your favorite game.

Here is everything you need to know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date that is no longer tied to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Whats in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remaster?

Now that we know the standalone Call of Duty 4 Remastered release is actually happening, it’s time to look at what you get with this game. First off, this is only the first game, there is no Modern Warfare 2 Remaster.
