iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus pre-orders have begun in the United States and countries around the world. And while some of you will want to put in an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus pre-order right now, others might want to wait.

Earlier this month, Apple took the stage and announced a slew of new products and dates including a new Apple Watch, the iOS 10 release date for iPhone and iPad, and the brand new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The new iPhones arrive on September 16th and will replace the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as the company’s flagship options.

If you want to order a device before the iPhone 7 release date you can do that right now. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus pre-orders went live via Apple, carrier websites and various retailers in the U.S. at Midnight on September 9th.

iPhone 7 pre-orders will be open all the way up until the iPhone 7 release date though there’s a good chance some models will sell out before then. If you have a certain model in mind, you might want to put in a pre-order.

While many of you will want to stay up and put in an early order, others might be better off waiting a few days, or maybe a few weeks, before buying an iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

If you need a new phone immediately and you've been waiting for the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus to arrive, you'll want to put in an pre-order ahead of the iPhone 7 release date on September 16th.  iPhone 7 pre-orders are live and shipping times for most models have already been pushed back into late September.  In the case of the Jet Black iPhone 7, shipping times have moved into November for some models. Just ahead of the holidays.  If you want your device on or around September 16th, you'll want to put in an order through Apple or someone else as soon as you possibly can.  If you don't, you could be waiting until October or even November for your new device.
