Reliable High Speed Data

When it comes to high speed data and connectivity, we are on the cusp of a great time when smartphones can almost replace a home connection, but when you work, mobile reliability is still an issue.

Despite AT&T covering 400 markets with 4G LTE and Verizon completing its roll out to 500 markets, there are still gaps in coverage and connectivity.

While some gaps in flyover country are to be expected, there are many times where the Gotta Be Mobile team can not connect on any of the major cellular networks in New York City or San Francisco.

The speeds that come with 4G LTE are wonderful for those of us who want to work while mobile, but reliability is still far from certain.

As the image shows, Verizon 4G LTE can be incredibly fast in one location, but in others where the carrier has less control over a tower, speeds are abysmal. In this case Verizon suggested buying a 4G LTE repeater that uses home WiFi to boost signal.

We've come a long way, but there is still a long way to go before mobile workers and consumers can call their connections reliable.
