Black Ops 3 Verge Tips and Tricks

The Black Ops 3 Verge map is one where you will die a lot if you don't know where the enemies funnel. On this map you can get by with a SMG, but there are plenty of opportunities for ARs, Snipers and even LMGs if you can set yourself up to lock down the bridge or the open side of the map opposite the caves.

If you play domination, B flag is tough to get, but if you capture it then you can post up on the bridge to really lock it down by standing behind cover or sitting in a corner. On the opposite side of the B flag you can go prone behind the truck and it will be tough for opponents to take you out.

There are definitely some places to wallrun in this map, but you don't need to use it as much on this map as you do in others. Watch out for the caves, and learn which way to turn to flank and which way to turn to surprise the enemy.

You should also learn how to use the water to your advantage. You can hide underwater behind the boat and take out anyone who drops in the water from relative safety. You can also jump into the water from the circular cave using a small pool. You'll have to go underwater in Safeguard, which was a bit of a surprise.

Make sure you spend time in the buildings, especially if you are in an objective mode. You can hide behind the capture point and take out players who spawn or who run to the flag.
