The iOS 9.2.1 update shouldn't be the only iOS 9 update on your radar. Apple is cooking up a much larger iOS 9.3 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. If your device can run iOS 9.2.1, it will be able to run the iOS 9.3 update. The iOS 9.3 update is currently available to the public in beta form which means anyone can try an early version of it ahead of the release date. Apple hasn't announced an iOS 9.3 release date but signs are pointing to a release alongside the rumored iPhone SE later this month. The iPhone SE is rumored for Apple's March 21st event with a release date expected to arrive shortly after the conclusion. Thanks to the iOS 9.3 beta, we have a solid read on the changes the public version of iOS 9.3 will bring when it's released for everyone this spring. iOS 9.3 features education features for iPad, a new feature called Night Shift that could help iPhone users sleep better, some big changes to core apps like Notes, and some improvements to 3D Touch on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The iOS 9.3 beta also delivered Verizon Wi-Fi Calling, a huge gain for iPhone users on Big Red. It's a substantial update and it's the update that should replace iOS 9.2.1. Be on the lookout for it in the second half of March. | ||||||
