Enhanced iPad multitasking was a long time coming. Samsung and Microsoft's versions of multitasking put Apple's to shame. iOS 9 changes things with several impressive enhancements to the iPad's multitasking functionality.
The new Picture in Picture and Slide-Out features are starting to grow on me already. Picture in Picture allows you to watch a video while you do something else. It's a great distraction for me, someone who loves watching sports highlights. Slide-Out isn't as good as the iPad Air 2's Split-Screen Multitasking feature but it's still something I am going to use often. To use it, open up an app like Safari and slide from the right side of the screen. You'll get a list of apps to choose from. Once you open up one up, you'll use it in that third of screen. It was awesome to use during yesterday's iOS 9 release because I could talk to co-workers while monitoring Twitter at my desk. It's great for productivity and I envision myself using it a lot in the days ahead.
These features alone made the iPad iOS 9 update worth it. |

My iPhone 5 is lasting 1/2 the battery life with iOS 9 than iOS 8, let alone with apps that are crashing left and right. So I have no idea what you are testing but it isn’t iOS 9. Cause iOS 9 is garbage junk. And the new font absolutely is butt ugly.
