Apple's iOS 9.2 update brings support for a feature called AT&T NumberSync. NumberSync allows you to answer phone calls on any device, even when your phone isn't nearby. 

The feature isn't available for every iPhone model but it is available for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. And the only way to get access to it is if you download and install the iOS 9.2 update.
