When it debuted in 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum wasn’t just the good game that surprised everyone because it was about superheros and that genre has never been successfully translated into a console experience. No, Batman: Arkham Asylum was simply a fun game that made users feel like Batman and reminded them of why they loved the character so much. There were gadgets and gizmos everywhere and plenty of bad guys to beat up with its innovative combat system.
About the only thing that wasn’t on the table where the game’s graphics. They weren’t bad per se, they just weren’t amazing. As the title that gave superhero games hope, it’d be fitting if it also saw a release on the Xbox One complete with upgraded graphics and all access to all of its downloadable content. The game deserves it, even if it doesn’t have any multiplayer elements. Batman: Arkham Knight has already been confirmed for the two modern gaming platforms. It takes place in the same universe as the first game, but even adds the Batmobile to the character’s toolbox.
