15 Best Nexus 6P Cases

Verus is another brand that is up and coming, but not all of their cases have fit perfect for me. However, their High Pro Shield case for the Nexus 6P fits like a glove, and is probably my second favorite. It's what I use on my spare Nexus 6P and the Galaxy S7. It has a brushed metal textured look, although is made of a hard shell polycarbonate plastic on the back and sides, then the inside in lined in a drop-resistant soft TPU rubber. As usual it has raised lips around the screen for face-down protection, perfect cutouts for the camera and ports, and a nice smooth curve for the fingerprint scanner. I did notice taking screenshots was somewhat difficult at times, where hitting power and volume down at the same time didn't work. The phone would accidentally it volume up, and fail to take a screenshot. Maybe that's because the buttons material is too stuff. That said, Google's official case has the same problem, only worse, which is why we didn't recommend Google's grey textured case. The Verus High Pro SHIELD Case is junk; it looks nice, I’ll give it that. At launch, the USB charge port was too small and many buyers had to deal with that whole debacle. Verus fixed the issue and continued selling their product but with the stereo cable port being too small for stereo cords. After I bought the product, via amazon, and discovered this issue, I contacted Verus and they told me they couldn’t do anything and that I would have to contact them via Amazon (which is for some reason strangely disabled on their vendor profile in Amazon). I was able to get an exchange and cited the reason for the exchange as being a defective product that did not allow for the use of a stereo cable. The replacement they sent had the same issue and now I have two defective products that I am currently returning.
I would recommend this product only if you are not planning on using the stereo output capability of your Nexus 6P and if you are okay supporting a company that doesn’t test their products before selling them or listen to consumer feedback and make the necessary changes to provide a quality product.
