FreeHand MusicPro System For Musicians

I’ve been posting quite a few entries about musicians using Tablet PCs to peform their music this week and so I was intrigued when I ran across this today. Freehand Systems Inc bills itself as “an elite digital music company with revolutionary technology that is shaping the future of distribution and performance of sheet music.”

They offer both the MusicPro (in several varieties) hardware and a Digital Sheet Music Website, While this hardware looks like a Tablet PC, it appears to be unique to their offering. I can’t seem to locate any info on the site as to the technology employed, and there are solutions for both Mac and PC.

In any event, this looks like a very similar approach to what Hugh Sung as been chronicling. Only difference being that it is not using the Tablet PC OS as far as I can tell and the hardware looks dedicated to their system approach.
