An Eye-Controlled Tablet PC

Published

on

MytobiiThis is a very interesting bit of technology. The MyTobii P10 is an eye-controlled Tablet. Designed for users with disabilites like Cerebal Palsy, ALS, high level spinal injuries, and MS, the MyTbii uses eye-tracking software and a touch screen. Objects are selected using “dwell time” or the length of time a users looks at the object on the screen.

The eye tracker doesn’t need the user to “do” or “wear” anything. Simply sit in front of it, follow a dot during a 30-second calibration and you are on your way! With flexible mounting, easy customization and different hardware options, every situation is catered to.

Read more here. There are some interesting videos of the technology at this link.
