Wibree: A Competitor For Bluetooth

Looks like there might be a little competition for Bluetooth. Nokia has developed Wibree which, according to this article, allows mobile phones to communicate with other devices and drains less power than Bluetooth. Nokia is hoping this will become an industry standard and will be commerically availalbe in the second quarter of 2007.
