Time to reclaim the term "Notebook"?

Our good friend, Sumocat, has written up a fantastic article on reclaiming the term “Notebook”  for the Tablet PC – the true Notebook computer that you take real notes on. He goes a bit further and says that the Tablet PC’s younger, smaller brother should lose its cumbersome name and should claim the title Notepad.

He’s posted it on his blog and in the GBM forums. I invite you to read his thoughts and let everyone know what you think of his idea. Is he off the wall? Does he have a good point? Is he fighting an uphill battle?
