iRiver Enters the UMPC Market

Gizmodo is reporting that iRiver is jumping into the UMPC race with the W10. Interesting looking UMPC (even under glass) as it looks more like a small laptop than anything else we’ve seen. Not much in the way of details yet, but it includes both WiMax and WiBro, so at the moment this looks like a South Korean and Asian entry for awhile yet.

Update: So, bleary eyed after too much Christmas partying, I missed the fact that this story is quite a few months old. Apologies. Guess it begs the question, what ever happend to iRiver’s device?
