More on ReadyBoost and SD Cards

Published

on

Awhile back I posted about getting an SD Card to work with Vista’s ReadyBoost feature and my suspicions that the seemingly random nature of this working had to do with the SD card reader installed on a particular Tablet PC in addition to the speed of the card itself. Good buddy Craig Pringle has done some more digging on this and his findings seem to support that thought and he also has some more info on how and why some cards work and some don’t. He’s fortunate as he can test with several Tablet PCs at his disposal. I wonder if this means we’ll start to see more data and specs on SD cards and readers?

Check out Craig’s findings here
