Posted by | 03/15/2007 | 0 Comments

Ppt2pdfThanks to GBM Forum Member Northern Rebel for the tip on this free Cool Tool. The site, Giveaway of the Day, is giving away A-PDF PPT2PDF, a utility that converts PowerPoint files into .pdf files. Compatibile with Acrobat v5 and up (and other pdf viewers) and there are quite a few features including:

  • standalone program. Does NOT require Adobe Acrobat or Reader
  • Support bookmark
  • Ability to change the visual quality (compression) of the output pdf file
  • Change the output file properties with macro
  • Add password protection to the output file
  • PDF document permissions can be set to allow users various degrees of control of the document
  • Settings can be saved to use as defaults, producing multiple pdf documents quickly

I just downloaded it and give it a try using PowerPoint 2007 on Vista and it works as advertised.

Check it out here and remember free software offerd on Giveaway of the Day is only available for a day. Also note that an activation file comes in the zip file of the download and you have a limited to perform the activation.
