A big part of the Tablet PC experience is of course writing in ink, and in XP Tablet PC Edition and Vista, users have to rely on the TIP a great deal for inputting data into non-ink eanbled fields. Craig Pringle, a Tablet PC MVP, has written a good Tablet 101 article on using the TIP for both ink and tapping out characters with the on-screen keyboard.
